OVER 2,500 people marched in support of the locked out Gate Gourmet workers last Saturday in the Swiss capital of Berne.
The march was part of a day of action in support of Gate Gourmet workers and striking workers at AEG and Swiss Metal.
The struggle of the locked out Gate Gourmet workers is seen in Switzerland and Germany as an important action against global capitalism and the giant Texas Pacific venture capitalists.
Many young workers who see themselves as Communists and Anarchists took part in the very orderly and disciplined march.
There have been many pickets of the headquarters of the Texas Pacific company in Zurich and workers here will be marching on May Day in support of the struggle of the locked out Gate Gourmet workers.
