US mass murder in western Mosul is aiding, abetting and strengthening ISIS – and not defeating it!

AFTER over a month of silence, the western media have had to acknowledge that hundreds of civilians are being killed in western Mosul by US air forces who are attacking occupied buildings which have a handful of ISIS snipers on the rooftops, by destroying the entire buildings, incinerating hundreds of civilians, men, women and very small children.

Previously, the western media had been treating the relief of Aleppo as a massive onslaught on civilians, when there was a very cautious military action by the Syrian army and a policy by the Russian airforce of not bombing the city. This policy paid off with the surrender of this major Syrian city to President Assad.

Every day there were pictures in the western media of the alleged slaughter of civilians, of crying children and an adulation of the deeds of the ‘white helmets’, a branch of Al-Qaeda, who were were lauded all the way to the Oscars.

For all those who are whingeing on about the Russian media such as RT, it has to be acknowledged that if RT had not unmasked the mass murder of civilians by US air strikes on western Mosul, the international media would have been able to carry on covering up for the murderous US air strikes.

RT was telling the truth about both Aleppo and the slaughter in Mosul. We say well done to them, and warn that attempts to silence the Russian station are an attempt to hold the lid on scandalous situations like the mass bombing of Mosul and its consequences.

The police are treating the murders just carried out by the terrorist Masood in Westminster as an inexplicable mystery. We would say perhaps he was influenced by the slaughter of innocents in Mosul, in the same way as ISIS emerged after the slaughter of hundreds of thousands in Iraq after the 2003 invasion, and in the same way as the murder of Colonel Gadaffi led to the growth of Libyan terrorism and the growth of the refugee-running gangsters across the Med.

The situation in west Mosul is now out in the open, with even the US being forced to order a pause in its mass bombings. The Pentagon has had to acknowledged a fraction of its crimes including the US-led coalition air strike, carried out last week in the Iraqi city of Mosul, that left over 200 civilians dead.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has also had to announce that: ‘An initial review of strike data … indicates that, at the request of the Iraqi security forces, the coalition struck (Daesh) fighters and equipment, March 17, in west Mosul at the location corresponding to allegations of civilian casualties.’

An investigation has been opened ‘to determine the facts surrounding this strike and the validity of the allegation of civilian casualties,’ it added. On March 17, a large number of people were buried under rubble in Mosul after the US-led coalition’s airstrike targeted a western neighbourhood there.

Locals and officials had blamed the US-led coalition for the deadly raid in spite of initial denial by the coalition. Even the United Nations on Friday expressed grave concerns over the tragedy and loss of innocent lives. However, the US is now carrying out its terror attacks in Syria as well as Iraq. Last week, dozens of Syrians were killed after American warplanes bombarded a school sheltering displaced people near the Daesh-held city of Raqqa.

In another deadly attack by the US air force on a mosque near the city of Aleppo, 52 people were killed. Yemen is yet another country in the region that has fallen victim to American bombings.

In fact, under Trump the US is moving to ignite a great war against the people of Iraq, Syria, the Yemen and then Iran.

Earlier this month, the Pentagon acknowledged pounding several Yemeni provinces with more than 20 drones. Over a dozen civilians were killed in the attacks. The UK is supplying the Saudi bandits with billions of pounds of aircraft, bombs and drones, as well as building a giant dock in Bahrain capable of taking the two giant aircraft carriers that the UK is building.

Imperialism with these policies and tactics is creating more terrorists by the minute! News Line urges the UK trade unions to demand that all UK forces are recalled from the Middle East and the Gulf and to give their full support to the Palestinian, Iranian and Arab revolutions!
