‘THE Palestinian Resistance’s victory in Gaza is a clear sign of the weakness of the Zionist regime and a prelude to final victory of Palestinians against the occupiers,’ Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah told Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hoseyn Amir-Abdollahian on Sunday.
Nasrallah Hailed the exemplary resistance of the Palestinian nation to the war machine of the occupying regime of Quds (Israel).
The Hezbollah secretary-general referred to million-strong pro-Palestine rallies in Iran and across the world on Friday 25 July to mark the International Quds Day.
He said the demonstrations, which were held in response to a call by the late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeyni, and urged by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene’i, neutralised the plots hatched by enemies.
He lauded the strong support of the Iranian government for the Resistance Movement to the occupying regime. The Iranian official, for his part, briefed Nasrallah on the efforts made by the Iranian government over the past three weeks to stop the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.
Amir-Abdollahian said that during the massacre of civilian people in Gaza, most of the victims are women and children, indicating the Zionist regime’s desperation to commit crimes against humanity and war crimes.
During a telephone conversation between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad and Hassan Nasrallah, also on Sunday, they both underlined the need to meet Gaza’s demands.
‘The Islamic Republic of Iran supports Palestinians’ legitimate demands and the Muslim world’s vigilance is a must for the fulfilment of the Palestinians’ demands,’ Zarif said to Hassan Nasrallah.
Zarif stressed that Iran is ready to send relief and medical supplies to the Gaza Strip.
‘These barbaric attacks on Gaza Strip have created a catastrophic human crisis which is a clear example of war crimes against humanity,’ Hassan Nasrallah said.
Millions of people took to the streets around the globe on the occasion of International Quds Day last Friday, to censure Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinians of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The protests began from the Far East with Japanese people marching on the Israeli embassy in the capital Tokyo. Thai protesters staged a demonstration calling on Tel Aviv to end its assault on the blockaded enclave.
Demonstrators marched across Middle Eastern countries, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Algeria, and Sudan, all censuring Israel’s massive offensive against Gaza.
Similar protests were staged in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan. In the Indian capital New Delhi, the demonstrators burned the Israeli flags and blamed the United States for the bloodshed.
There were also mass demonstrations throughout Europe and north and south America.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hoseyn Amir-Abdollahian discussed developments in Gaza with the Lebanese foreign minister, Jibran Basil, in Beirut on Sunday.
‘The Zionist Regime has no option but to accept the conditions set by the (Palestinian) Resistance for removing the Gaza blockade,’ Abdullahian, who is on a visit to Beirut, said during a meeting with the Lebanese foreign minister.
Abdollahian spoke in appreciation of the efforts made by the Lebanese Foreign Ministry in pursuing the issue of Israel’s attacks on Gaza in the international forums.
He added: ‘The enemies know well that they will face more devastating responses (by Palestinians) in case they continue their attacks (on Gaza).’
The Lebanese minister for his part described Israel’s actions against Gaza as ‘crimes against humanity’.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani hailed the Palestinian people in Gaza for keeping their spirits high despite the Zionist regime’s aggression for 20 consecutive days, and said this is while the Israelis are feeling growing fear of the resistance forces’ attacks.
‘The morale of the Gaza people hasn’t changed since the start of this attack while over 1,000 of them have been killed and over 7,000 others injured but their resistance spirit has been kept in light of Islamic culture and Islamic Revolution and they have understood that one can go past every problem,’ Rouhani said, addressing a gathering of clerics in Tehran on Sunday.
He referred to the fear felt by the Zionist regime of the Palestinians’ attacks, and said during the last 20 days of war Tel Aviv has come under the Gazans’ missile attacks for the first time,
Ben Gurion airport has been closed and over four millions of Israelis went to the basements for the first time to save themselves from the Palestinians’ missile attacks.
Hamas’s hitting of Ben Gurion airport made air carriers in the United States and Europe halt flights to Tel Aviv after warnings from governmental agencies concerned about passenger safety.
‘The carriers are making the right call,’ said Robert Mann, an airline consultant in Port Washington, New York. ‘They are ultimately legally responsible for their operations and thus, they have to be at least as cautious and in many cases more cautious than any guideline that they are given.’
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hoseyn Amir-Abdollahian has discussed the latest developments in Gaza with the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ramadan Abdullah in Beirut.

Shamkhani said that the ‘end of this war, like the 8-day and 22-day wars, will be a victory for the Palestinian fighters and the development of the resistance’s power and authority’.
He added that ‘the brutal killings of Palestinians by the Zionists – and the resistance from the people and other resistance groups once again highlighted the Islamic world’s main issue: the increased danger from the Zionist regime.’
For his part, Ramadan Abdullah, emphasised the good morale and confidence of the people and the combatants for final victory.
