Acknowledge your failure! – Saudi Arabia is urged

Residents of Yemen’s Bani Hushaysh district in Sana’a Governorate have announced a general mobilisation to confront Saudi aggression

AN IRAQI anti-terror resistance group has urged the Saudi leadership to acknowledge the failure of its military option and completely lift the blockade on Yemen.

Kata’ib Hezbollah, in a statement released yesterday, said the operations carried out by Yemeni Armed Forces are in reprisal for Saudi Arabia’s brutal onslaught and siege against their homeland, and in defence of their dignity and fundamental rights.
Iraqi people from every walk of life and resistance factions stand by Yemen, it said, describing the Yemeni cause as a just cause that requires solidarity and support as it confronts Riyadh’s US-Israeli-backed atrocious assaults.
Kata’ib Hezbollah went on to address the Saudi leadership, particularly Crown Prince and de facto ruler Mohammed bin Salman, calling on them to acknowledge the failure of the military option and completely lift the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
‘Continued military and economic pressure will never manage to undermine Yemenis’ determination to safeguard their rights and reject foreign guardianship and interference,’ the statement read.
Kata’ib Hezbollah highlighted that Iraq will continue to support just aspirations in West Asia, characterising the causes of Palestine and Yemen as the region’s foremost issues.

According to a report quoting a senior Yemeni source speaking on condition of anonymity, over the weekend Yemeni military units dealt heavy blows to the so-called Giants Brigades in the Ras al-Ara area, killing and wounding more than 400 Saudi-backed militiamen, including top commanders.
The soaring number of casualties has created dissatisfaction among the Saudi-sponsored mercenary forces, according to the source, who noted that the magnitude of the losses has become a source of growing concern among the militiamen deployed in the area.
The source further noted that the inefficacy of Saudi Arabia’s air defence systems has compelled Riyadh to intensify its ground force deployments in pursuit of battlefield gains, even in the face of considerable losses.
