ISRAELI occupation forces raided towns across the occupied West Bank overnight on Wednesday and at dawn yesterday, kidnapping at least 13 Palestinians.
In Qalqilya, troops entered the city from its eastern side, broke into homes and seized security camera recordings after raiding shops.
They opened fire at local youths and took eight residents from their houses in the Kafr Saba neighbourhood, among them fathers seized alongside their sons.
Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi appealed to the people of Qusra and the surrounding villages to break the siege and strengthen their presence in the fields around the town.
Protecting the families is a national responsibility carried by all Palestinians, he said and what is being done there is a fresh attempt to impose forced displacement and push residents off their land.
He called for protection committees to be built up and for unified official, factional and popular positions.
The Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission documented 2,256 attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank during July, of which 798 were settler attacks.
This includes armed settler militias killing seven Palestinians in Ramallah and Nablus, and 440 involving damage to property and the bulldozing of land.
The commission recorded 11,074 such attacks in the first half of 2026.
In Gaza, the health ministry said on Tuesday that 1,259 Palestinians have been killed and 4,146 wounded since October 2025, a total of 5,405.
The Israeli regime told Washington it would not stop striking the territory.
Hamas dissolved the resistance-led body that had governed Gaza for close to two decades in early July, in line with the agreement, and has since offered to hand authority to a technocratic body, which Israel is blocking from entering.
Israeli forces have pushed beyond the ‘Yellow Line’ they were meant to withdraw to and built permanent outposts around it, and new satellite imagery shows a large barrier under construction which would partition parts of the besieged territory.
Aid entering Gaza remains critically low.
Meanwhile, in southern Lebanon, an Israeli airstrike hit al-Mansouri in the Tyre district on Wednesday as troops blew up buildings and civilian facilities at Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in Nabatieh.
The Lebanese army said the demolitions destroyed the town’s public school, health clinic, nursery and a number of homes, on top of the municipal building blown up earlier, and that the attacks are obstructing its deployment in the south and keeping residents from returning.
Israeli Army Minister Israel Katz said the demolition of homes, and what he calls Hezbollah infrastructure inside the ‘security zone’, would go on, and that he had ordered the military to prepare for a long stay inside Lebanon, as well as in areas of Syria and Gaza.
Since the beginning of March, Israeli attacks have killed 4,335 people in Lebanon and injured 12,277, according to Lebanese authorities, and displaced more than a million. Israeli forces have advanced over 10 kilometres into Lebanese territory in the current offensive.
