AS the world capitalist crisis deepens, the imperialist powers are frantically rearming and planning to reinforce ‘Europe’s nuclear umbrella’.
They are fearful that US imperialism, led by Trump, will seek to make a nuclear deal with Russia and leave the states of the European Union to their fate.
Germany is already in talks to ‘invest’ in the British Trident nuclear deterrent amid the fears that the Trump regime will withdraw its military from Europe.
John Radcliffe the CIA director has already made an unannounced visit to Moscow for talks with Russian military intelligence counterparts.
The visit coincided with a fearful US intelligence report that warned that Russia might soon attempt to attack a NATO ally to test the alliance’s resolve!
Trump has already deepened the split with Europe.
In NATO, he has demanded the European nations pay 5% of their GDP into NATO funds so that it is no longer carried by the United States.
The US gave 20% of US military aid to Ukraine at the start of the war against Russia but Trump has refused to continue to give such support and there is no new US legislation to continue giving such aid.
He has also held off sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine even though Ukraine’s president Zelensky has requested them about four times.
Trump has stated that it’s up to Europe to support Ukraine and the division between US and Europe has deepened.
Also, since Trump’s individual and unprovoked war against Iran, the Europeans and the UK have distanced themselves from Trump.
Trump’s war on Iran has almost brought the world markets to a complete collapse with the Strait of Hormuz continually closed, due to the US blockade of Iranian ports, and the price of oil continues to soar.
The huge crisis of world imperialism is splitting the old alliances and more countries are distancing themselves from the United States.
Trump’s tariffs’ war is fuelling these divisions, as well as weakening the US economy which is already staggering under $40 trillion of debt.
Imperialism has never been in such a crisis and it is urgent that the working class takes action to bring it down before the ruling class launch more wars, more genocides and the mass destruction of many countries.
Capitalism is in its death agony and can only guarantee its continuation by a whole series of wars and desperate attempts to divide and re-divide the world amongst the various imperialist gangster states.
It must be removed by the working class carrying out the world socialist revolution.
Bankrupt capitalism is quite prepared to see millions of people slaughtered in order to keep the backward out-of-date and archaic capitalist system going, at whatever the cost!
Now is the time to build the Workers Revolutionary Party and the Young Socialists into mass organisations of hundreds of thousands of workers and youth.
The task directly ahead is to remove and replace the backward capitalist system with the British Socialist Republic and the World Socialist Republic.
The motto of socialism is: ‘From each according to their ability to each according to their need,’ putting an end to the dog-eat-dog system of backward capitalism.
To replace it, revolutionary parties, sections of the International Committee of the Fourth International, must be built in all of the major capitalist states to organise and lead the victory of the world socialist revolution.
Capitalism has more than had its day. Now is the time when it must be dumped into the dustbin of history in order that humanity can go forward to the socialist future.
Today, imperialism is lurching from one desperate crisis to another, killing thousands and destroying society.
The only future today is a socialist one – let’s go forward and achieve the World Socialist Republic!
