THE Israeli occupation forces (IOF) intensified their deadly violations of the ‘ceasefire agreement’ in the Gaza Strip on Friday, carrying out multiple demolition operations and opening heavy fire from military vehicles and drones across several areas of the territory.
Before dawn on Friday, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire east of Gaza City, while four explosions from demolition operations were reported in the eastern part of the city.
An Israeli quadcopter drone also opened fire on the Tuffah neighbourhood in northeastern Gaza City.
Gunfire was reported in the eastern areas of Tuffah, east and south of Khan Younis, and east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
The latest incidents followed Israeli attacks on Thursday that killed five Palestinians, including a woman, and wounded several others in different parts of the Gaza Strip.
A PIC (Palestine information centre) correspondent reported that Mohammed al-Qishawi was killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of Palestinians near Martyrs’ Square in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, on Thursday evening.
Medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp confirmed that 12-year-old Adnan Tariq Adnan al-Qarnawi was shot and killed by Israeli forces east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Fadl Abdullah Salman Abu Mazyad was also killed in an Israeli drone attack near the municipality of az-Zawayda in central Gaza on Thursday evening.
In southern Gaza, 54-year-old Noura Suleiman Mohammed Sheikh al-Eid was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Bir-19 area.
Another Palestinian, Abd Walid Matar, was killed when an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced people west of az-Zawayda in central Gaza.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Falouja area west of the Jabalia refugee camp, wounding several Palestinians, including one who sustained serious injuries.
Israeli warplanes also struck the al-Karama neighbourhood northwest of Gaza City, while the IOF carried out a demolition operation east of Khan Younis.
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli artillery shelled areas south of Khan Younis amid heavy gunfire.
Israeli military operations have continued despite the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 11th, 2025.
Reports from across Gaza indicate that the IOF troops have continued carrying out airstrikes, opening fire and conducting demolition operations in multiple areas of the Strip.
According to Gaza’s health ministry, IOF attacks have killed 1,602 Palestinians and wounded 5,799 others since the ceasefire took effect.
The ministry also reported that the bodies of 847 Palestinians have been recovered during the same period.
The latest figures bring the cumulative Palestinian death toll since October 7, 2023, to 74,618, while more than 175,925 people were wounded, according to the ministry.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of overnight raids across the West Bank that continued until early Friday, storming Palestinian towns, searching homes and setting up military checkpoints, as Jewish settlers continued attacks against Palestinian residents and their property.
Meanwhile, IOF troops established a military checkpoint between the villages of Ein Arik and Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah, while also raiding the nearby town of Beitunia.
The latest incidents come amid intensified IOF military operations across the West Bank, involving home raids, arrests, military checkpoints and increasingly severe restrictions on Palestinian movement.
Meanwhile, the UN, the UK and the USA stand by and watch the continuing slaughter.
The UK, US and EU trade unions must not just stand by and watch the continuing slaughter. They must organise general strike actions in support of Palestine, to establish the Palestinian state and bring an end to the slaughter of Palestinians!
